Anne Marie, Patricia and Liam wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
A special thanks to Fr Luke Mc Williams P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance, pastoral care and for celebrating the Requiem Mass.
Thanks to Patrick, Thér?se, Colleen and Liam for the beautiful music, the church sacristan Henry Quinn, Wishy Drain for preparing the grave, Rasharkin Parish for use of St Olcan’s Hall and Iris Carlisle and staff for providing refreshments after the funeral.
The family would like to especially thank the kind relatives, friends and neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them through this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the funeral.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped out at the wake and to all those who generously provided food, refreshments and practical support during this time; your kindness and generosity were greatly appreciated.
Special thanks also go to the staff of Craigdun Care Home, Kilrea and Maine Cullybackey Health Centres, Community nurses and carer’s who looked after Philomena during her illness.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to Michael-Óg, Gregory and John for the professional, compassionate and dignified way in which they supported the family throughout the wake and funeral.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month mid Mass for Philomena will be celebrated on Sunday 21st June 2026 at 11am in St Mary’s Church, Rasharkin.
