We, the family of Phyllis Hamilton, wish to express our sincerest thanks to all our family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who gave comfort, support and who expressed sympathy during our recent sad bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral and to those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers, donations and messages of support. Our sincerest gratitude to our very kind and thoughtful family, friends and neighbours who provided refreshments, brought food or helped in any way.

A special and heartfelt thank you to the teams of District Nurses, Doctors and Medical Staff from Clarendon Medical Practice, Marie Curie Nurses, Rapid Response Team and the Foyle Hospice Nurses, all who treated Phyllis with loving care and compassion.
Our sincerest appreciation to all of Phyllis’ Carers who always gave her their utmost care and compassion.

To Paula and Kathleen, mum’s dearest friends, thank you for the plentiful time and loving care you gave to our mother.

We would like to thank the staff from Belmont Pharmacy for their excellent and untiring service. We will be forever grateful to you all.

Our deepest appreciation to Father Daniel McFaul and Father Ignacy Saniuta for attending to Phyllis during her illness and to Father Gerry White for all his prayers. A special thank you to Father Daniel McFaul for his support, kindness and beautiful Requiem Mass. Our most grateful thanks to Aidan Watkins and Anne Marie Hickey whose beautiful music and singing helped to make Phyllis’ Requiem Mass so serene.

Deepest appreciation to Kieran and all at WJ O’Brien & Sons Funeral Directors, Eglinton, for their dignified, caring and professional manner in carrying out Phyllis’ funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our family’s deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Phyllis’ Months Mind Mass will be held in St Mary’s Church, Creggan at 6.30 pm on Saturday 21st January 2023.
