The family of the late Phyllis (Philomena) McSorley wish to thank everyone who sympathised with them on the loss of a beloved sister, mother and mother-in-law, Granny and friend to many. We want to thank those who attended Phyllis’ wake or funeral, or watched online, and all those family, friends and neighbours who helped so generously and tirelessly throughout this period and those who sent Mass/ Sympathy cards or words of support.
Sincere thanks to Father Aodhan McCrystal and Father Sean Mulligan for the beautiful Funeral Mass and for praying with Phyllis in Craigavon Area Hospital. Particular thanks to Father Aodhan for his support to the family at this time. Thanks also to Father McGahan, Father Joseph and the Hospital Chaplain, Father Rooney for their attention, and to the clinical teams in CAH Emergency Department and Ward 3 North. Special thanks to Fionnuala Colton for leading the wonderful music and singing, to the readers, gift bearers, sacristan, altar servers and gravediggers, and to McAtee funeral directors for their professionalism and kindness to the family. Our gratitude to Canavan's Inn, Garvaghey for the welcome refreshments after the funeral.
Special thanks to the dedicated team in Rivervale County Private Care Home, led by Helena and Teresa O’Neill, to the staff in Fintona Medical Centre and Loy Medical Centre, and to Phyllis’ carers including North West Care for their dedication over many years.
