The death has occurred of:
Rachel Jean TRUESDALE (née Singer)
TRUESDALE, Rachel Jean (nee Singer) late of Dundrum Road, Newcastle.
Jean passed away on Monday 27th July 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness.
Beloved wife of William, loving mother of Malcolm, Valerie and Richard, devoted grandmother of Adam, Vicky, Sophie, Euan, Calum, Alexander and Conor, great grandmother to Reuben.
Jean was born in September 1940 and spent her early years in Ballyward before moving to Newcastle, where she was a pupil of Down High School. Jean previously worked at Newcastle Primary School, Newcastle Technical College and as a carer at River House Residential Care Home, as well as being devoted to her family.
Funeral Service will take place in Maghera Parish Church, Co. Down on Wednesday 29th July at 2pm followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.
