The family of the late Rachel O'Connor wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with them during their recent bereavement.
Special thanks to those who sent texts, online messages and tributes, sympathy and Mass cards, bouquets or donations in lieu, and those who brought gifts of food. Our sincere thanks to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, especially those from afar, for the dignified Ballyshannon Drama Society and Erne Gaels guards of honour, and those who watched online.
We deeply appreciate all Rachel’s carers especially the medical staff at Rathmore Clinic Belleek, District Nurses, North West Cancer Centre Derry, staff in the Palliative Care Unit Omagh, Marie Curie and Macmillan nurses and McGuinness’s Pharmacy.
We are very grateful to Canon Munster, Father McVeigh, and Father McManus for their spiritual support throughout Rachel’s illness and their exquisite concelebration of Mass, and to those who assisted and prepared the church. We also thank Louise, Anne, Emma, Brenda, and Sinead for their beautiful harmonious salute.
Our appreciation goes to Peter Carty, Funeral Director, for his professionalism and compassion. We also sincerely thank all those who helped at Rachel’s wake and funeral especially Erne Gaels Belleek and others for traffic and crowd management. To those we have not thanked individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.
