Randal’s wife Mary, his sons, daughters and entire family circle wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.
A special thanks to Fr. Luke McWilliams P.P. for his pastoral care given to Randal and for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass.
Also thanks to Fr. Damian McCaughan and Fr Nideesh Varghese for their kind attention and spiritual support to Randal both in the Causeway and Robinson hospitals.
Thank you especially to the musicians, Karen, Catherine and Maebh for the beautiful music and to the Eucharistic ministers. Thank you to those who assisted in preparing the church, helped in the car park, Wishy Drain who prepared the grave, Fionnuala McGuckian and staff for providing refreshments after the funeral and to those who prepared the parish hall.
The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. We greatly appreciate the support of everyone who came to the house, brought food, helped in the home, gave Mass cards and sympathy cards, sent flowers, called, sent messages, paid tribute online, gave donations and attended the funeral mass or watched it online.
Special thanks to those who travelled long distances to be with us at this difficult time.
A special note of thanks to Dr Paul McCormack and the staff of Kilrea Medical Centre for their care, kindness and dedication over the last few years. Thank you also to the carers from Bluebird and Complete Care who kindly provided care to Randal.
Sincere appreciation to Dr Iqbal and the staff in the Causeway Hospital Coleraine who cared for Randal.
Special thanks also to all the staff at the Robinson Memorial Hospital Ballymoney for the exemplary care and attention given to Randal and their kindness to the whole family.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to McKiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate and dedicated manner in which they carried out their role.
We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation to all who have helped our family at this sad time.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month’s mind Mass for Randal will be celebrated on Saturday 17th August 2024 at 6:30pm in St. Mary’s Church, Rasharkin.
