The family of the late Raymond Stevenson wishes to express heartfelt appreciation to all the kind relatives, friends, neighbours, and work colleagues who took the time to sympathize and support the family through this deeply distressing time. Our grief is beyond words, but the love, kindness, and support have been immense.
We would like to thank everyone who telephoned, sent cards, messages of condolences, and donations in lieu of the Injured Bikers Fund.
A special word of thanks to Rev. Arthur Burns, who took the time to communicate with Raymond, who was proudly deaf. We would like to thank him for such a fitting service, kindness, and continued support to our family.
Our deepest thanks to the deaf community for turning out in huge numbers. This showed how loved Raymond was in his community. Special thanks to Steven Conlon for interpreting the funeral service.
We would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Altnagalvin Hospital for their first-class care. We will be forever grateful.
