Rev Fr Fernando (James) CARBERRY

CARBERRY Rev Fr Fernando (James) R.I.P. Died April 20, 2020 at Our Lady's Nursing Home, Beechmount. Formerly of Holy Cross Retreat, Ardoyne, Belfast, St Paul's Retreat, Mt Argus, Dublin and the Diocese of Gaberone, Botswana, Africa. Son of the late John Carberry and Josephine (nee Noble).

Deeply regretted by his sister Sadie McIlmunn, his brother Jackie, his nieces Sharon and Margaret, Sharon, Josette and Christine, his nephews Neil, Sean and Peter and his sister-in-law Maureen. Pre deceased by his sister Lilian and brothers-in-law Peter and Neil and nephew Jim.

He will be sadly missed by the family circle, his Passionist family and a large circle of friends and parishioners who benefited from his ministry over many years at home and abroad.

Because of the present restrictions Fr Fernando's remains will arrive at Holy Cross Cemetery for burial on Wednesday at 1.30pm. The burial and graveside prayers will be Private for his immediate family. A memorial Mass to celebrate his life and his ministry to God's people will be celebrated at a later date.
