The death has occurred of:
Rev. Robert (Bert) NIXON
1st July 2026. Peacefully at home. Senior Minister of Bessbrook Presbyterian Church and past Minister of Tobermore Presbyterian Church.
Darling husband to the late Maude. Much loved father to Paul (Denise), Andrew (Sarah), Sharon and Stephen (Carolyn). Beloved grandfather to Timothy (Gemma), Jonathan (Anna), Naomi, David (Kirsty), Nathan (Sara Jane), Samuel (Rebekah), Benjamin, Rebekah (Luke), Joel and Bethany and great grandfather to Reuben, Joel, Daniel, Alexander, Elisabeth and Annie.
Following a private family committal, a Service of Thanksgiving will take place in West Presbyterian Church, Bangor on Monday 6th July 2026 at 1.00 pm.

The family extend grateful thanks to the doctors and staff of Ashley Medical Centre, the staff from the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, Caremark domiciliary care agency and Marie Curie who attended to him, and to the pastoral team in West Presbyterian Church, for their unfailing care and attention.
Will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by the entire family circle.
