Rita McGirr (née Curley)
McGirr Rita (nee Curley) Fintona, formerly of 35 Main Street Fintona BT78 2AA died peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital on Thursday 30th September 2021. Beloved wife of Eugene. Devoted mother to Lisa Donnelly (Tony), Shauna Burden (Martin) and Kellie Nicholas (Barry). Cherished Grandmother to Nicola, Ryan, Brianá and her 5 great grandchildren. Much loved sister to Patricia and Marion. Rita will leave her late residence at 1.10pm on Saturday 2nd October for 1.30pm requiem Mass in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona, followed by her burial in the adjoining Cemetery. For those who wish to show a presence along the funeral route, Rita will travel from Main Street, along the Tattymoyle Road and Lisdergan Road to arrive at 1.25pm. In light of the Coronavirus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the house will be strictly private with social distancing being adhered to at the funeral. Alternatively, the Mass may be viewed via the Donacavey Parish webcam. Deeply regretted by her loving husband, daughters, sons in law, grandchildren, sisters, nephews, nieces and entire family circle. Our Lady pray for her.
