Rita McGuire (née Grimes)

We, the family of the late Rita McGuire, wish to express our sincere appreciation to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We would like to offer our sincere and heartfelt thanks to our family, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways during the wake and funeral. Also, to all those who called to the house, sent cards, messages of sympathy and flowers.

Our sincere gratitude for all those who cared for Rita, including the carers, nurses and staff of St Macartan’s Nursing Home, Errigal Medical Centre, O’Neill’s Pharmacy and to all the nurses and doctors at the South West Acute Hospital, particularly those on Ward 8.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Michael O’Dwyer for his spiritual support and comforting Requiem Mass celebrating Rita’s life. Thanks also to the Sacristan and everyone who assisted with the Mass, especially Noleen and Mattie Neil and Patrick McCabe for the beautiful music.

Thank you to Paudge Quinn for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger who prepared Rita’s final resting place. To Patsy, Anne-Marie and the staff of Kelly’s Inn for providing refreshments after the funeral service.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deepest gratitude.

Rita’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Malachy’s Church, Ballymacilroy, on Friday 10th June at 7:00pm.

Our Lady of Knock, pray for her.
