Robert Allison (Bobby) TAYLOR

Peacefully passed away 28th June 2026 surrounded by his family in Carrickfergus Manor Nursing Home.

Deeply loved father of Rhonda, Conrad, and Rodney, father-in-law of Tommy and Jacki, cherished grandfather of Donna, Mark, Lisa, Kelsey, and Ella, and adored great-grandfather of Jessica, Jay, Elise, and Ellison.

Born on 23 September 1932 to Matt and Agnes Taylor, and brother of the late Tommy, John, Margaret, and Nessie.

The popular and well-known proprietor of RA & D Taylor (Taylors), he was a familiar and friendly face in the community. Bobby is reunited with his beloved wife Doris. He will be remembered for his humour, his warmth, and his devotion to family.

A Service of Thanksgiving for Bobby’s life will be held in S & J Irvine’s Funeral Home, 31-35 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, BT38 8BL on Thursday 2nd July 2026 at 10.00 a.m. and afterwards to Victoria Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Carrickfergus Manor Resident’s Fund c/o S&J Irvine Funeral Directors at the above address.

Bobby will be resting at his son Conrad’s home, 154 Craigs Road Carrickfergus, BT38 9XA. Family and friends are welcome to call and pay their respects on Tuesday and Wednesday between 2-4pm and 6-8pm.

Beautiful memories treasured forever, of happy days we had together.
