Robert (Bertie) McCRUM

The son and daughter, Robert and Linda-Jane, of the late Bertie McCrum (Aughnacloy) would like to offer our sincere appreciation to everyone who sympathised with and supported us following the death of our darling Daddy, much-loved Grandad, Great-Grandad, Father-in-law, Brother-in-law and Uncle.

We would like to especially thank Rev Roger McElnea, Aughnacloy Presbyterian Church for conducting a beautiful Service of Thanksgiving and tribute to Daddy. And to Mr Paul Dynes for his very touching tribute.

Thank you also to the organist, Mrs Bertha Ashfield for the beautiful music at the service. A sincere thanks to the Church Elders, Mr Derek Loane, for his on-going prayerful support to Daddy and the family, Mr Noel Givans and Mr Kenny Beattie (also Caretaker) for all their support and assistance at the service.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr Christopher Potter and Staff at Aughnacloy Health Centre, McKeevers Pharmacist Keith and Staff, Aughnacloy and District Nursing Team. Special thanks must go to the team of wonderful Carers, and we as a family will never forget. Thank you also to Marie Curie Nursing Team, especially Barbara Murray for her care and invaluable support.

We would like to thank Fred Martin and Son Funeral Directors for going above and beyond to ensure the most dignified and professional of funeral arrangements and support to our family. Thank you also to the Grave Digger for his professional input.

Sincere thanks to Lorraine and staff from the Diamond Tea Room for the outstanding catering after the service and the care provided to the family. Thanks to all who have made donations to Marie Curie on Daddy's request.

Finally, to Daddy's wonderful neighbours, friends and colleagues, a special thank you for being there for Daddy in your quiet, respectful way. We appreciate your visits, messages and prayers.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token or our sincere appreciation.

Have you considered?
