Robert Henry (Harry) Givan
Derrycreevy
Aughnacloy
Called home 10th April 2026

We, the family of the late Harry Givan would like to convey our most sincere thanks for the sympathy, love and support extended to us in our recent time of bereavement.

Harry was a loving husband, a cherished father, father-in-law, grandfather and brother.

The presence of family, friends and neighbours at our home and at Harrys’ funeral was a great comfort to us all. In addition, the kindness and thoughtfulness shown to us will always be remembered with deep gratitude. The thoughts and prayers of all who knew him, and shared memories of Harry are greatly valued by the family with the peace that a loving God gives in such times.

To everyone who brought provisions and called, your help has been greatly appreciated. Special thanks to local businesses for their generosity at the difficult time. We are grateful for the many expressions of sympathy, love and consoling words sent in the many cards, and messages conveyed to the family circle.

We wish to thank those who kindly donated to Aughnacloy Presbyterian Church Building Fund in memory of Harry.

Special appreciation to the emergency services who worked so tirelessly on Harry. To Dr Potter for his compassionate response alongside the health centre staff who supported Harrys' health over the years.

The Rev Roger McElnea for his pastoral care and the thoughtful and appropriate message at the funeral which has been a source of strength and hope for us. The organist, Mrs Bertha Ashfield who under her direction the singing at the service was sensational. To the Church officers who welcomed and showed those present to their seats.

To Mrs McCammon for providing welcome refreshments at the church after the funeral.
We are deeply grateful to F Martin and sons Funeral Directors for their compassion, counsel and care in carrying out the funeral arrangements.

To the grave diggers for their care and attention to detail and to the PSNI for their assistance with the traffic.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.

Harry is loved and missed every day and will always be remembered.

With heartfelt thanks
