The Family and Family Circle of the late Robert James (RJ) Campbell wish to acknowledge and express their heartfelt and sincere thanks to all the kind relatives, friends and neighbours for their sympathies and kindness shown to them following their recent and sudden bereavement.

To those who called at the home, brought gifts of food, telephoned, sent text messages and comments on social media, sent cards, letters, attended the wake and funeral, or helped and supported us in any way.

Special thanks to Dr. Richard Hunter and staff at Fairhill Health Centre, Magherafelt, the Doctors and staff at Antrim Area Hospital, the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, the Community District Nursing team, the Podiatry team at Mid-Ulster Hospital, Magherafelt, the Pharmacists and staff at McGlaughlin’s Pharmacy, Magherafelt and to all the Carers for their exemplary care, love, and attention to Robert James’ needs and their support to the family.

A very special word of thanks to Rev. Trevor Boyd and Rev. George Simpson for their pastoral care, prayerful support, and words of comfort and for conducting and sharing the Service at the family home and the Service of Thanksgiving at the Church on 15th December 2022.

Sincere thanks to Mrs Adrienne Brooks, pianist for playing so beautifully. To Mr Will McKelvey for piping at the family home, the church and at the graveside. To Councillor Mrs Anne Forde for her assistance with gritting the funeral route on the day of the funeral due to the inclement weather conditions. To Robert, Elizabeth, and family, for opening their home at Wood Road and to all those who provided and served the lovely tea after the funeral.

As a family, we really appreciate the thoughtfulness of all who gave donations in lieu of flowers to Tobermore Presbyterian Church.
Thanks also to the grave diggers.

Finally, we are extremely grateful to Mrs Helen Badger, her Daughter Kristy and her team at D. Watters Funeral Services, Tobermore for the caring and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our very sincere and heartfelt appreciation.

“Forever loved, sadly missed and always in our hearts.”

From: Gareth, Robert, Brian and Alison.
