Robert John (Bertie) MAWHINNEY

The wife, family and brother of the late Bertie Mawhinney wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with and supported them following their recent sad bereavement. To everyone who called at the home, gave gifts of food and flowers, sent sympathy cards, texts, telephoned, gave donations to Marie Curie, attended the funeral or stood by the roadside or helped in any other way.

Our sincere thanks to the Doctors, District Nurses, Reception staff of Draperstown Surgery, Home Care Team, Marie Curie and those who did night sits. Grateful thanks to Rev T Boyd for his pastoral care and conducting the funeral service.

Our appreciation to Gareth Campbell for playing the organ at the funeral service. Thank you to Hamilton’s Funeral Services for guidance and the dignified manner in which they conducted the funeral arrangements.

Finally, thank you to Workspace for the use of The Community Hub and to John and Edith Blair for the tea provided after the committal.

The family trusts this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of their grateful appreciation.
