The wife and family of the late Bertie Shiels wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised and supported us in our recent sad bereavement. We greatly appreciate the thoughtfulness of all those relatives, friends, neighbours and R.A.F.A members who called at the home, brought food, sent cards, telephoned, made donations and attended the funeral or helped in anyway.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the Doctors and staff of Kilrea Health Centre especially Dr. McAuley, our sincere gratitude to the girls of Ann’s Home Care and Marie Curie nurses who helped us care for Bertie.
A special thanks to Rev Dr. T.J. McCormick for his words of comfort and support during the many visits and also the funeral services.
Finally we are indebted to McKiernan & Sons for the courteous and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
