Martin Robert died 7th July 2022 peacefully at Hospital. Beloved husband of Janet, loving father of Rebekka and Ellen, devoted stepfather of Michelle, Andrew, Katie and Rebecca, grandfather of Katrina and Tia and step grandfather of Jayden.

Funeral Service to be held in Wilton's Funeral Home, 298 Shore Road, Whitehouse, Newtownabbey BT37 9RW on Monday 11th July at 9.30am followed by burial in Banbridge New Cemetery, Newry Road, Banbridge at 11.00am.

Family Flowers Only. Donations in lieu direct to Action Cancer, 20 Windsor Avenue, Belfast, BT9 6EE

Will be sorely missed by his loving family circle.

Robert, was a friend for many years. He was a best friend, I count it a privilege to have known him. It was an added privilege to have been his best man in 2019. When you look passed the addiction you could see his true qualities, decent, ethical, honest and true. I can say he was a faithful friend. He saw me through many difficult and complex situations, without his help, I simply wouldn’t have made it. Thank you !

I also know he understood and knew ‘For God so loved the world …. ‘ Robert didn’t need reminded of the rest of it.

He was appointed to be here for a measured amount of time and that time could not be exceeded. His life here has now been completed and his time fulfilled.

Entered into peace 7th July 2022.
