The family of Robin Mutch, his wife Jennifer and children Jamie, Adam, Harry and Lucy would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the community who have rallied behind them and provided support during the course of the illness that Robin bravely battled and in the days and weeks following his passing.

We appreciate the support provided from our family and friends ever since the diagnosis in 2020, with special mention to Robins parents Jennifer and the late Malcolm, his sisters, brother, brother-in-laws, aunts and uncles; providing transport, food, and hospital visits, this really meant a lot to Robin and our family.

Thanks to everyone who sent messages of sympathy, cards, and messages on social media and who were extremely generous in their donations to Bready Cricket Club Youth Organisation. The support from those who attended the wake, bringing food or providing help and to everyone who attended the funeral, this was appreciated by the entire family circle.
It would be impossible to thank everyone who has supported our family over the past few years, but please do know that we have appreciated this and take this acknowledgement as token of our gratitude.

Special mentions must be made, to the District Nursing Team from Donemana and Dr Dinsmore of the Family practice in Strabane; their empathy, care and support will never be forgotten and we are so extremely grateful.

The nursing team and staff on Ward 50 Altnagelvin Hospital cared for Robin with such compassion during his various stays, and the support, care and consideration shown during his final days where they nursed him with grace and dignity was greatly appreciated.
We would also like to thank the Community and Inpatient Team at Foyle Hospice and Dr Rachel Coulter.
Thanks also to the Sarcoma Team in Belfast City Hospital, to Dr McCarty, Dr Fenton and SNS Susan for the care and guidance provided during the time Robin was a patient undergoing treatment.

Our family have taken great comfort in the pastoral support that was provided to Robin during the course of his hospitalisation, treatment and in his final days in hospital. Rev Houston, Rev Orr and Rev Slater we would like to express our thanks.
To Rev Houston who lead the funeral in Strabane Presbyterian Church and also to Rev Orr for his reading and words of comfort. To Trevor Hamilton for the reading, and for helping Gareth to organise the logistics of the coffin carries.

So many people provided us with such fantastic support during the days leading up to and during the funeral – our neighbours The Doherty Family in helping park cars in Chestnut Road, Bready Golf Society for the guard of honour to bring Robin home, Alastair Heywood and team at Ali’s Steakhouse for providing the teas after the funeral service, Newspread for providing help with the funeral teas and everyone from Strabane Presbyterian Church for their help with the funeral. We are extremely grateful.

Our community organisations and schools have supported Jennifer, Robin and the boys over the last 3 years and for that we are extremely grateful, Bready Cricket Club, Abercorn Masonic Lodge 251, Artigarvan Football Club, Strabane Academy and Bready Golf Society to name but a few.
The Boom Foundation have been an immense support to our family during the diagnosis, providing family respite and support and they continue to do so. Thank you for helping us make memories that will remain with us for a lifetime.
We would also like to thank Adair and Neely for their sensitive professionalism ensuring that every detail of the funeral was taken care of, this was much appreciated.

Finally, we would like to recognise the support and help we have had from our good friends and family, from providing holiday homes, picking the boys up when Robin was undergoing treatment, for driving Robin to hospital appointments or providing a listening ear, whilst ours hearts are heavy with grief, it is such a comfort to know we have been and continue to be surrounded by love and support.

Joshua 1:9
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.

Have you considered?
