The death has occurred of:
Ronald CUNNINGHAM
Called home June 2nd 2022, peacefully in the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast. Loving husband of Maria, father of Sam and Andrew, father in law of Lorraine, and grandfather of Ewan and the late Anya.
A service of thanksgiving will be held in Bethany Church -135c Upper Lisburn Road, Finaghy, Belfast on Wednesday 8th of June at 12:00pm, followed by light refreshments in Bethany Church and committal at Blaris Cemetery, Lisburn at 2:30pm.
Ron is now at home with the Lord Jesus Christ after 52 years (1964 - 2016) of missionary service in Ethiopia, Tanzania and elsewhere.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made through cheques made payable to Desta Project c/o Bobby Morrison Funeral Directors, 2 Manor Dr, Hillsborough Road, Lisburn, BT28 lJH. Desta Project is a charity set up by Sam and Andrew to help people in Degan, in Ethiopia - where Ron and Maria served as missionaries. Donated funds will used in ways that will honour their missionary service in areas where they are still remembered with great love.
Ron will be remembered with love by his family and friends at home and abroad.
