Paul, Ann, Cathy and the entire family circle of the late Rory R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.
A special thanks to Fr Madden P.P. for his spiritual support to Rory over the years and especially in recent months. Rory's family wish to convey their appreciation for his tribute to him in his homily and for the manner in which he celebrated the beautiful requiem Mass. Thanks to Brigid, Sean and the Parish Choir for the beautiful music; Marie, the Holy Rosary Church sacristan, the Community Hub for use of their facilities and Delicious for providing refreshments after the funeral, and Gavin and John who prepared the grave.
The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thanks to those who messaged, sent cards, sent donations and those who gathered along the route to the Church and attended the wake and/or funeral, we are truly grateful.
Sincere appreciation to the staff of Draperstown Surgery and O'Kane's Pharmacy for their care, kindness and dedication over the last number of years. A special note of thanks to Dr Peter Small, the District Nurses and the Marie Curie Nurses and Carer Assistants who cared for Rory so diligently and compassionately in his final illness.
The family would also like to express their gratitude to McKiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors for the professional, compassionate and dedicated manner in which they carried out and guided them through all aspects of the funeral arrangements. We are truly grateful for your kindness.
The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
The month mind Mass for Rory will be celebrated on Friday 12th September at 7.30pm in the Holy Rosary Church, Draperstown.
