The Knipe family would like to thank all those who sympathised with them on the recent loss of their dear mother Rose. All those who attended the wake or funeral from near and far and also online, sent cards, letters, left messages by email, social media, telephoned or bought flowers, those who helped carry Mum’s coffin on it’s final journey in an organised and dignified manner including her dear grandsons and nephews, lined the route as the cortege passed, or indeed those who were unable to attend but kept us in their thoughts and prayers.

Rose's son-in-laws Patsy and Brendan and her daughter-in-law Elaine who all provided much needed practical and moral support in our time of need.

Those who made sandwiches, left food, or biscuits, provided teapots and cups and made refreshments during the wake (not to mention the tea makers). Cordelia’s for providing much appreciated sausage suppers on the last night.

Father Barry Matthews for conducting the funeral service and for visiting mum and administering the sacraments shortly before she passed away as well as providing regular pastoral support for the past few years - she was always glad of the visits.

The doctors and nurses who attended mum at home and also those at CAH for their advice and support. Those who provided much needed help and respite over the last few months including family friends and neighbours.

For all those who helped or took part in the funeral mass including the Sacristan, Eucharistic Ministers, Eilis Fox and Sara-Jane Kelly for the graceful song and accompaniment, Rose's much loved grandchildren and nephew Paddy for the readings and prayers and Louie for the beautiful rendition of The Fermanagh Blackbird.

JJ McArdle & Sons and staff who provided professional and respectful arrangements throughout with attention to detail and who were always at hand when needed.

Those who prepared mum’s final resting place along side her late husband Paddy.

Helen, Judith and the staff at the Charlemont Arms Hotel for providing the beautiful meal and service at the reception afterwards.

Grateful thanks to all who helped in any way or offered their support and condolences, we will always remember your thoughtfulness and kindness. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.

Rose’s months mind will be held on Friday 24th November and the family will be attending the 7.30pm Mass in St. Malachy’s Church followed by refreshments at 15 St. Brigid's Hill. All welcome.
