Rosemary passed away peacefully at home on 17th July, 2025. Rosemary's son Paul (Noeleen), daughters Veronica, Linda (Ryan) and Keira, her grandchildren and entire family circle wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement and offered prayers.
We wish to express a special thank you to Fr. Hasson for Rosemary's beautiful Requiem Mass and to both Fr. Hasson and Fr. O'Kane for their spiritual support.
To the Mc Laughlin and Mc Cullagh families we give our deepest gratitude for the love and support shown during these times. In our time of sorrow, you carried us with grace, compassion, and strength. Your presence, your help, and your care were a reflection of everything our mother was kind, generous, and full of heart.
We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all those who called at the house, attended the funeral and sent Mass cards. To those friends and neighbours who provided food and refreshments during the wake, we are extremely grateful to you.
Thank you to Tony McCormick, Eamon McCullagh, Lorcan McCullagh and Gary McGlinchey for the traffic management leading to the family home. To Sacred Heart College for the use of the school car park. Also, a thank you to Sacred Heart College for their guard of honour outside the church and to St. Columba's Church for the use of their car park on the morning of the funeral
We wish to thank Louise Kirwan and Marie Campbell for the beautiful music that enriched the Mass, the gravediggers, Drumragh Football Club for the use of their hall, Farley's, Beragh for providing the refreshments after Rosemary's funeral and Floral Temptations and Stephen Mallon for the beautiful flower arrangements at the family home and funeral.
We also take this opportunity to thank J. Maguire, Funeral Directors for the very sensitive and dignified way in which they conducted the entire funeral arrangements.
We wish to acknowledge and thank the Nurses and Doctors of SWAH ward 5, District Nursing team, Palliative Care team, Marie Curie team, Foyle Hospice, Lakeside Community Care and the Rapid Response team who cared for Rosemary and supported her family during her illness. We also give a special thanks to Roisin McLaughlin for all her care and guidance in Rosemary's final days.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere gratitude.
Rosemary's Month's Mind Mass will be held on Friday 22nd August, 2025 at 7.30pm in The Sacred Heart Church, Omagh.
