The death has occurred of:
Rose McCRYSTAL
The entire family of the late Rose McCrystal wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful to relatives, friends and neighbours who called to our home, sent cards, letters of condolences, flowers, and brought food. We thank those that attended the wake, funeral Mass and burial and those who travelled long distances to express their sympathies in person. Thanks to our wonderful neighbours and friends who helped serve refreshments during the wake.
A special thanks to all those who cared for Rose during her illness, to Dr. Potter and district nurses from Cookstown Health Centre, Antrim Area Hospital and the special Marie Curie nurses for the care shown to Rose in her final days.
We thank Fr. Boyle for his support and for celebrating the beautiful funeral Mass, delivering such a personal and special homily. We would also like to thank Monsignor Jim Carroll who assisted at the funeral Mass and said prayers during the burial.
The music was beautifully performed by singer Ellie O’Neill, pianist Nuala McCormick and harpist & flautist Éadbhard Gribbin.
A special thanks goes to the Morris family and the Glenavon Hotel for their support during the wake and post funeral refreshments.
Thank you to Joanna Loughran and all at Niall Loughran Funeral Directors for the caring and dignified way in which they dealt with everything for our family.
As it would not be possible to thank everyone individually for their generosity and thoughtfulness during this time, we trust that this acknowledgement will serve as an expression of our sincere appreciation.
Rose’s month mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 6th April at 6pm in Holy Trinity Church Cookstown and may also be viewed on the parish webcam.
