Rose’s sister Martina, brother Denis, sister-in-law Angela, brother-in-law Martin, nieces
Cushla and Ania, nephews Daniel, Micheál, Cáelán and Eoghan, and the extended family
wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered support and sympathy
following Rose’s death.

We sincerely thank all who stood out to pay their respects on Rose’s final journey home
to Kilcorran, those who attended the wake and funeral mass, sent messages of
condolence, letters, mass and sympathy cards, brough and preparing food during the
wake, helped in any way during the wake, and made donations in Rose’s memory to the
Cavan Monaghan Palliative Care Fund.

Our sincere thanks and gratitude to Father John Chester for his support to Rose during
her illness and for the most beautiful Funeral Mass and fitting eulogy to Rose. We also
thank everyone who took part in the mass liturgy, especially the readers, eucharistic
ministers and choir, for the beautiful music and singing and to Michael the sacristan in
St Tierney’s Church for all his help.

To all the doctors, nurses and carers who cared for Rose during her illness, we are
deeply grateful for your care, compassion and kindness, especially the teams at
Monaghan/Cavan Palliative Care, the North West Cancer Centre at Altnagelvin Hospital,
Medical Ward Cavan General Hospital, the District Nurses, Swan Park Surgery,
Monaghan, and Maple Health Centre, Lisnaskea.

We also sincerely thank Margaret, Aidan, and Sean at Connolly Funeral Directors for
their support, professionalism, compassion and guidance, and the dignified manner in
which they they carried out Rose’s funeral arrangements, and the gravediggers who
took such care in preparing Rose’s final resting place.

Thank you, to the staff of Tierney Tax Consultancy and Roses wonderful circle of
dancing friends who formed guards of honour on the morning of Rose’s funeral.
Thanks also to Marita at Foxgloves & Ferns, Lisnaskea, for the beautiful flowers, and
Café DJ Enniskillen and Roslea Shamrocks GFC for providing refreshments after the
funeral.

A special word of thanks to all Roses’ wonderful neighbours and large circle of friends
who were always there when she needed them, we are truly grateful.
Finally, we wish to thank all Rose’s staff at Tierney Tax Consultancy, her clients
throughout Ireland and abroad, her peers in the accountancy tax and legal profession,
for their loyalty, help, support over the years and during her illness.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this
acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our appreciation and gratitude.
Rose’s Month’s Memory Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 14 th June 2026 at 10:30 am in
St Tierney’s Church, Roslea.
