Died 16th May 2026.

We, the family of the late Rosie, wish to extend our deep gratitude and warmest thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers, and support during our recent sad bereavement. Rosie was the beloved wife of the late Laurence. Treasured sister of Jim and the late Bernard, Pat, John, Joe, Molly McGoldrick, Margaret Crudden and Mary-Ellen, Terence and Mary, and a much loved aunt, great aunt and friend, who was widely respected by all who knew her.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Rosie’s home, especially those who helped with serving tea and to those who brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, expressed their condolences with messages online or via social media, flowers, and to those who sent donations in lieu for Cuan Mhuire (NI) Ltd. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us for the beautiful Requiem Mass in St Lawrence’s Church in Fintona.
We are so blessed and thankful to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and the work colleagues throughout this difficult time. Your support has helped our family in so many ways to find strength and to celebrate and give thanks for Rosie’s life.

A special word of thanks to Father Sean Mulligan PP for his spiritual guidance and support and for celebrating the beautiful requiem Mass and also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, gift bearers and the St. Lawrence’s Choir who provided the beautiful and uplifting music which added so much to the funeral service.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Rosie’s final resting place. Our thanks also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tributes and to the St. Patrick’s Hall ladies for the very welcome refreshments after the burial.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude to all those who supported Rosie during her life and who helped in any way during the wake and funeral.

Rosie was greatly loved by her family and by everyone who knew her, and she will be very sadly missed. May her gentle, kind and generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Rosie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Friday 3rd July at 7.30pm. Our Lady, pray for her.
