SIMPSON, RUSSELL JAMES 3rd April 2018 peacefully in hospital, late of Donegore Hill. Dearly beloved husband of Rhonda, devoted father of Becky, Matthew & Adam and much loved brother of Elma, David and George.

A Service of Thanksgiving for his life will be held in All Saints Parish Church Antrim on Saturday 7th April at 10 am and afterwards to Antrim Cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired made payable by cheque to The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association c/o Bairds Funeral Directors 71 Church Street, Antrim BT41 4BE.

Lovingly remembered by his wife, daughter, sons and entire family circle.

I am so, so sorry to hear the news of the passing of Russell, I had the privilege of being introduced to Russell by Rhonda.
Rhonda always referred to Russell as Our Russell which endeared him to myself before I met him, and all my family, but after spending time with Russell I was so endeared.
He was kind, thoughtful, charismatic and full of life and craic, a complete legend.
I’m so, so sad to hear the news of his passsing. He was and is a legend.
