The family of the late Ruth McAdoo, Moneymore would like to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us, following the recent loss of our beloved mother, mother-in-law, granny, great-granny and great-great granny.

We would like to thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards and messages of support, called with food or helped make tea, all of which was greatly appreciated.

Special thanks to the Reverend Jonathan Sloan for all his visits to Ruth in recent years, for all his support of the family at such a difficult time and for such a perfect Service of Thanksgiving.

Our thanks are also extended to the Session of First and Second Moneymore Presbyterian Churches for the use of the Church Hall. To Tanya Stewart for providing such moving musical accompaniment during the Service. To the gravediggers for their preparation before and after the funeral and to Edith Blair for the beautiful refreshments provided after the Service. The whole family also greatly valued the calm support and guidance of Trevor Anderson.

The grateful and sincere thanks of the family is given to the doctors and staff at Moneymore Medical Centre, the District Nurses, Stephen and his staff at Moneymore Pharmacy and to everyone who ensured that Ruth could remain comfortably in her own home.

To the family, friends and neighbours, who visited Ruth over the years, she just loved to hear the news. She always looked forward to Doreen Brown, her Church Elder, who was such a welcome, regular and faithful caller and to the care of Carmel Devlin.

The family would like to express their deepest thanks to Helen at Desmond Watters Funeral Services for the caring and compassionate way she guided us through such a difficult time and to Brian and all the staff.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation.
