Late of Lyndhurst Way.

Beloved husband of Audrey, much loved father of Stephen and Lynore and treasured grandfather of Glenn and Amy.

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at Shankill Methodist Church, 267 Shankill Road, on Wednesday 29th November at 2.30pm and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 4pm.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to N.I. Hospice, Head Office 18 O’Neill Road, Newtownabbey, BT36 6WB or online at www.nihospice.org

Will be sadly missed by his loving wife and family circle.

Two weary hands are resting,
the voice we loved is still.
The one who did so much for us,
is resting at God’s will.

With ultimate sadness, the Worshipful Master, Officers and Members of Prince Albert Temperance Royal Black Preceptory No. 813 (Shankill Road District Chapter) deeply regret the passing of our highly esteemed Past Master, Wor. Sir Knight Samuel (Sammy) Reid and offer our sincerest sympathies to his beloved Wife Audrey, Children Stephen and Lynore, Grandchildren Glenn and Amy and the wider Family Circle.
With approval from the Family, Regalia of the Loyal Orders, (Orange or Royal Black, as desired) will be worn at the funeral in tribute to Sammy's long and dedicated service (over 50 years) to each of our Institutions.
"Go now thou faithful servant into the loving embrace of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords for thou didst join the race, stayed the course, fought the good fight, and with utmost sincerity, kept the Faith and remained true to your Protestant conviction and principles".
