The death has occurred of:
SAMUEL ROBERT RUSSELL
Passed away just a couple of months short of his 100th birthday. His family was the focus of his entire life including the extended Russell clan of Northern Ireland. He was fiercely loyal to those he loved; always there for everyone expecting little in return. He lived a long and content life. Beloved husband of Lily (McNabney). Cherished father of Rob and wife Wendy; Colleen and husband George. Much loved grandfather of Lily, Bobby, Dan, Mike, Jackie and Russ. Proud great-grandfather of Ben, Aria and Ward. Greatly missed by Jess, Erin and Eric. Dear brother of David Russell, Harold Russell, Vera Adair, Sandy Russell and Meta Galloway. Dear uncle to 10 nephews and nieces in Northern Ireland and a nephew in Norway. Great-uncle to many, many more.
There will be a brief interment service at Connor New Cemetery in Kells at 5:30 on May 21st, 2018.
