Samuel (Sam) MAGEE
Samuel’s wife Olive, children Judith, David, Carol and family circle wish to express heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all relatives, friends, neighbours and Sam’s past colleagues who called at the family home, telephoned, sent cards, brought gifts, and sent messages of comfort or helped in the home in any way. Special thanks go to the carers and sitters from Extracare/Crossroads/Support Care for their kindness, care and attention to Sam at home over the past two years, especially in his final two weeks. Thank you goes to the Doctors of Randalstown Medical Practice, Randalstown Pharmacy staff, the Parkinson’s/Dementia Multidisciplinary Care Team at Northern Trust, Antrim District Nursing and Hospital Diversion Teams and the Marie Curie Nurses.
Appreciation also extends to those who attended the funeral and gave donations in lieu of flowers, to the Rev Chris Wilson for conducting the funeral service, for his dedicated visits to Sam and for his help and support to the family over recent weeks, to Lucy Talbot and the ladies of Greystone Presbyterian Church who organised the catering, to Meta Booth for playing the organ, to the members of Congregational Committee for their help at the service. Thanks also to Rea Sound for their help with the audio visual at the service.
The family would also like to offer special thanks to Bairds Funeral Services, and particularly Geoffrey Irons, for the compassionate, dignified and professional manner in which they conducted arrangements and also to the gravediggers.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation.
