Samuel (Sammy) Sproule

SPROULE, SAMUEL ERNEST (SAMMY)

The wife and family of the late Sammy Sproule wish to extend our sincere thanks to all who sympathised and supported us during our sad bereavement.

We would like to thank all who called to the house, brought food, sent cards, telephoned, helped at the wake, attended the funeral, stood at the roadside while the cortege passed and gave a donation to Derg Parish Church in lieu of flowers.

Many thanks to the Reverend Peter Ferguson for his many visits and wonderful support to us all during Sammy’s illness and to the Reverend Jonathan McFarland for the lovely funeral service.

Our sincere thanks to Dr Malek and staff of the North West Cancer Centre, Western Rural Healthcare, District nurses and Occupational Therapist.

Thanks to Killen Community Centre for the loan of their hall and to Roberta and family who provided a lovely funeral tea.
Many thanks to the British Legion for their Poppy Drop and the Regimental Association of the UDR for their guard of honour outside the Church and at the graveside. Thanks also to Jamie for playing the bagpipes.

Thanks very much to Armstrong funeral directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our appreciation.

Christine, Samantha, Clive and Gareth
