Sarah (Sally) McGEOWN

Ernest McGeown and the family of the late Sarah (Sally) McGeown of Stewart Avenue, Cookstown wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised with them on their recent bereavement (14th June, 2025). Thanks to all who called at the home, telephoned, sent cards or messages of sympathy, attended the wake or funeral or helped in any way. A special thanks to Rev. Michael Currie of First Cookstown Presbyterian Church for his spiritual guidance and for conducting a very fitting funeral service in the church and at the graveside.

We also wish to acknowledge those who gave so generously in lieu of flowers to First Presbyterian Church Cookstown Building Fund. Finally, we give thanks to Bryan, Carole and staff of Steenson Funeral Services for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

We trust this acknowledgment will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who helped or assisted in any way in our time of loss.
“And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it” (1 Cor. 12:26). “Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ” (Gal. 6:2).
