We, the family of the late Seamus McGovern, would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who offered their sympathies and support to us during our recent loss. We would like to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral, especially those who travelled great distances to be with us. We will forever be grateful especially for people's prayers, and the numerous kind and thoughtful messages received. We sincerely thank family, neighbors, friends and work colleagues, past and present who visited, brought food and helped in various ways. The widespread and extended support has been a great source of comfort to us.

Our gratitude is extended especially to Fr Raymond Donnelly PP, Enniskillen, for his spiritual support, visits with us, and celebrating Seamy’s funeral mass. In addition, we also extend our gratitude to Fr Brian Darcy and Fr Noel McGahan for their kind spiritual support. Our thanks also to those who provided the beautiful music and assisted in the liturgy of the Mass. Our sincere thanks to Pat and Mark Blake for their professionalism, compassion and support in carrying out the funeral arrangements. Thanks also to the guards of honor, namely Lakeland Cycle Club, Mount Lourdes, Tracey Concrete, Fuels & Lubricants, the residents of Lough View Meadows, and all the extended cycle family who turned out in great support for Seamy - CKR, DB CC, Smugglers CC, Breffni Wheelers and Virginia CC. Thanks and appreciation to Nicky Cassidy and his team at the Westville Hotel, the Aisling Centre, Michael's Diner, & Sarah at Island Flowers by Sarah.

While it is impossible to mention everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a gesture of our gratitude to everyone who supported and continues to support us following our loss. The holy sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Seamy’s month’s Memory Mass will be celebrated in St Michael's Church, Enniskillen at 6pm on Saturday 17th May 2025.
