We, the family of the late Seamus McMahon, wish to thank everyone who sympathised with us during our recent sad bereavement.

We are very grateful to family and friends who sent Mass or sympathy cards, attended the wake or funeral Mass and who travelled long journeys to be with us. Your kindness and support was a source of great strength to us.

Sincere thanks to Archbishop Eamon Martin and Fr John McDevitt for their heartfelt celebration of Seamus’ funeral Mass and to Fidelma, Conor and Lawrence for providing the lovely music and to John for doing the readings. Thanks also to Fr Colm O’Doherty from Ballybrack Church in Moville where Seamus was laid to rest.

We would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses on the various wards in Altnagelvin Hospital and to the home carers who looked after Seamus so well and with such great professionalism and dedication over the last few years.

Thanks to O’Brien Funeral Directors, in particular Kieran and Ian, for their sensitive and professional handling of the funeral arrangements.

Seamus’ months mind Mass will be at 12.15pm at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church, Steelstown on Sunday 14th September.
