Seamus McNulty, Dromore, Co Tyrone.
Died 19th July 2025.

Seamus passed away peacefully on the 19th July. He a widely respected gentleman, but primarily a devoted family man. Adoring husband of Noelle. Much loved father of Siobhan, Marie, Joanne, Oonagh, Blathnaid, Sinead and Emer and father in law of Kevin, Ciaran, Leon, Kirsten and Ronan. Devoted grandfather, uncle and friend. We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for and supported us through our recent sad bereavement.

Our thanks to those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral home, brought food or helped, this was greatly appreciated, and to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu, lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, your support throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Padraig MacKenna P.P. for his visits to Dad and his spiritual support and prayers in the Hospital, and for giving him the last rites. Also for the very comforting requiem Mass, our thanks also to Father Halton P.P and Father Joel for their spiritual support and for jointly concelebrating the Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan Patricia and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers; Seamus’s grandchildren and musicians Sinead Taggart and Damien Cullen who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Eamon for preparing Seamus’s final resting place. Also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tribute, and to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies for the most welcome refreshments after the burial.

Thank you to Saint Mary's School Tempo, for their guard of honour outside St. Davog’s chapel.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the staff of The Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital, Ash Ward for the great care they took of Dad. Our thanks also to the nurses, doctors and staff of Ward 2 at the South West Acute Hospital, for the great care they took of Dad during his long illness. We are very grateful for the kindness and respect shown to him.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Seamus is loved and missed every day. May his gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 23rd August at 7pm. Our Lady pray for him.
