Rainey – Killagan, Dunloy

Eithne, Marie-Thérèse, Nancy and the family circle of the late Seamus R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

Special thanks to Rev. Fr. PJ McCamphill for his friendship and spiritual support over many years and for being present with Seamus when he died, as well as to Rev. Fr.Liam Blayney for his attentiveness, friendship and visits to Seamus . Heartfelt thanks to Fr PJ and Fr Liam for celebrating the beautiful Requiem Mass along with Rev. Fr Tony Devlin P.P. and Rev. Fr. Albert McNally who we also thank sincerely.

Thanks to soprano Helene Murray and accompanist Cindy Yung for the wonderful music, the church sacristans, Arbutus Catering for providing refreshments after the funeral and Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.

The family wish to especially thank the kind relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. We are grateful also to those who messaged, sent cards, and to those who attended the wake, gathered along the route to the Church and who attended the funeral, many of whom travelled long distances. We thank our friends and neighbours in Kincasslagh for their messages of condolence and friendship.

Thank you to all those who provided medical expertise and support to Seamus in recent years including the medical professionals, nurses and staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Musgrave Park Hospital, Coleraine Hospital, The Frocess Medical Centre and Cloughmills Pharmacy. We are extremely thankful to all those who cared for Seamus and in particular to the loyal carers from Homecare who provided Seamus with care, compassion and good humour each day.

Thank you to McKiernan & Sons Funeral Directors for their wonderful professionalism, dignified support and empathy.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

The Month’s Mind Mass for Seamus will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church, Dunloy this coming Sunday (June 16th) at 10.30 am.
