The death has occurred of

Sean (Jack) O'DWYER, CBE

14th January 2024, Derry and formerly of Drumdowney, Slieverue, Co Kilkenny and Drombane, Co Tipperary. Jack died peacefully, surrounded by his devoted family at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry. Beloved husband of Peggy and loving father of children Sean, Ann, Mary, Paul, Mark and Colm.

Jack will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his family, including daughter-in-laws Catriona, Tanja, Araceli and Cathy and son-in-laws Shaun and Eamon; his granddaughters Sarah, Katie, Emma, Orla, Rachel, Sasha and Tara and grandsons Jack, Oscar, Hugo, Leo, Liam, Rory and Mika; sisters Mary, Margaret, Eileen and Josephine; brothers Bill and Tom; sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Jack is predeceased by his sisters Kay and Brigid, and brothers Denis, Ned, Fr Paddy and Stephen.

May Jack rest in peace.

Funeral Mass Wednesday 17th January 12:00 noon St Columb’s Church, Chapel Road, Derry followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Ardmore.
