We, the family of the late Sean McGivern who passed away peacefully on 7th June 2025 would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who supported us during our time of profound sadness.

Sean’s wife, children, sisters, brothers-in-law, grandchildren and the entire family circle deeply appreciate the kindness and support shown through your thoughts, prayers, help, condolences, visits, contributions of food, mass and sympathy cards, flowers, attendance at the wake and funeral and your donations to Dementia NI.

We extend our special thanks to those who made the funeral mass so meaningful, Fr. McMahon, Sacristan Francie McGrath, organist Mairead Duddy, and soloist Inez Murray for the beautiful music.

Our gratitude also goes to Gilberry Fayre for providing the funeral luncheon and Ballyvarley Hall Committee members for their support and hospitality.

We sincerely thank Aoife, Pat and all the staff of Ashgrove Care Home, the Doctors, Nurses & The Acute Care at Home Team from Daisy Hill Hospital and Cornmarket Doctor’s Surgery, Newry for their care and compassion towards Sean.

Although we cannot thank everyone individually please know we are so moved and grateful for all support, help and generosity received during this difficult time.
