We, the family of Sean McGuckin RIP, would like to send our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all those who have sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. To all those who called at the wake, sent sympathy and mass cards, gathered along the route to the church, attended the funeral mass and visited us at home in the weeks since, your kindness and thoughts have helped us through this difficult time.
To all who helped during the wake and to those who left in food and essentials, your support and kindness will always be appreciated by all of us.
To the Ambulance Service, Diamond Medical Centre, District Nurses , the carers who called daily and to the Renal Unit, Ward A4 & Macmillan Unit all at Antrim Area Hospital, thank you for all the care that was provided during Sean's illness, we are truly grateful.
Thanks to Fr Donnelly PP, who spoke about Sean with such eloquence and heartfelt words, it was exactly what we needed to hear and brought us some peace.
To Margaret Ann and Patrick, thank you for the beautiful music that contributed to such a special mass.
Thanks also to everyone at Ballinderry Community Hub who provided refreshments afterwards.
Finally we would like to thank Mark and Phillip of Cassidy Funeral Directors, who supported us through this difficult time with such professionalism and empathy. They will always be remembered for their time, attention and for helping to make it the funeral that Sean wanted.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude from the entire McGuckin family.
Sean’s month's mind mass will be held on Friday 28th April at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Ballinderry. Mass can also be viewed via the Parish Webcam via the link. https://www.churchservices.tv/ballinderry
