The death has occurred of:
Sean Sheerin
The family of the late Sean Sheerin would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us and supported us during our recent loss.
We are deeply grateful to all who offered comfort in so many ways: those who called to our home, attended the wake, funeral Mass and burial, and those who sent Mass cards, flowers and messages of condolence.
A special word of thanks to our kind neighbours and dear friends who provided food and practical assistance during the wake. Your generosity and presence were a great comfort to us.
Our sincere thanks also to the doctors and nurses of the Speerin Ward, the district nurses, the Foyle Hospice staff and the Marie Curie nurses for their care, compassion and dedication.
We would like to thank Fr Monaghan for his beautiful and prayerful service, and Sarah Griffiths for the lovely music and songs which touched everyone’s heart.
We are also very grateful to Sean Carr for his professionalism, kindness and support to all the family, which helped make a very difficult time a little easier to bear.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deep appreciation. Your kindness will never be forgotten
Sean’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Long Tower Chapel on Sunday the 14th June at 12 noon.
Family, friends, and neighbours are warmly invited to attend as we remember Sean and keep him in our thoughts and prayers.
All are welcome.
