We the family of Shareen McNamee, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to all the staff in the NINWCC who treated and card for Shareen since her diagnosis in 2019. Paul and Lynn from Cancer Fund For Children, Louise and Care For Cancer who supported Shareen and the family during her illness.

Our family, friends and neighbours who sympathised prayed and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Thank you to everyone who came to the wake, attended the funeral, sent messages, cards, flowers or a donation for Care for Cancer and Marie Curie in her memory.

A special word of thanks to Fr Kevin McElhennon PP, Fr Malachy Gallagher, seminarian David who provided comfort and support, also all the family members and friends who worked tirelessly throughout the wake making sure callers and everyone was looked after. To the many local businesses who sent food and sandwiches to the house throughout the wake. Fr Malachy Gallagher for his comforting requiem mass, Jayne McKillion for a very heartfelt eulogy, soloist Donna Taggart and Damien who provided beautiful reverent uplifting music.
A special word of thanks to pupils in Sacred Heart College, St Conor PS. and Dungannon Youth Football Team who provided a guard of honour outside the chapel. To all Shareen's neighbours and friends who stood outside her house in Lambrook to pay their respects as we passed on our way to the burial in Drumragh Cemetery.

Thank you to Jacqui and Maguires Funeral Services for the dignified and professional fuleral arrangements and to Ciaran Maguire in the cemetery. The Coach Inn for providing refreshments after the burial. We would also like to express our appreciation to the staff in the Omagh Palliative, Rapid Response,district nursing teams and Marie Curie who supported and enabled us to take care of Shareen at home. We would especially like to thank Thomas Maher for his beautiful moving tribute to Shareen in the Ulster Herald.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our thanks.

Shareen's Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church Omagh on Wednesday 17th June 2026 at 7.30pm
