The death has occurred of:
Sheenagh DONAGHY
We, the family of the late Sheenagh Donaghy who passed away on the 12th of May would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
We would especially like to thank our entire family circle, friends and neighbours, everyone who helped at the wake, those who brought food, sent Mass and Sympathy cards, called to the family home, sent their condolences, attended the funeral or watched online. It gave us great comfort knowing Sheenagh was so well thought of.
A special word of thanks to Father Boyle for celebrating the Requiem Mass in the thoughtful manner which he did.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to all the staff on the Palliative Care Unit at Wansbeck General Hospital who cared for Sheenagh.
Additionally, we would like to thank Niall A. Loughran’s Funeral Directors Joanna and Michael, for the professional, compassionate and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, also for their kindness and support during our most difficult time.
Thanks to Ellie O’Neill for the beautiful music during the mass and Emily Cullen for the wonderful tin whistle performance during the Mass and at the graveside and all that participated in the funeral Mass. We would also like to thank the gravediggers for preparing Sheenagh’s final resting place.
Furthermore, we would like to thank Mickey McElhatton and all the staff at the Greenvale Hotel for the refreshments after the funeral.
Lastly, as it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our appreciation to all that supported and helped the family at this difficult time.
Sheenagh’s months mind Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 12th June in the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Cookstown at 10 am. Online viewing is available at:
