The death has occurred of:
Sheila E BAIRD
The family of the late Sheila Baird would like to thank and pay tribute to all who provided the outstanding care and compassion in our recent bereavement.
First, we would sincerely thank all our dear friends and neighbours who assisted and provided such kindness and compassion at a very difficult time. We would especially thank those who travelled long distances or even broke their holidays to attend the funeral.
Our sincere thanks to the social workers and all the health care members of the local memory team for their invaluable assistance in recent years. Also our thanks to the doctors and indeed all the staff of Mid Ulster Health Care, for their support through the 18 years of Sheila's illness. Also we would pay tribute to the invaluable support and compassionate care provided by all the carers who assiduously and selflessly attended to Sheila over the many years of her illness. We also wish to thank all our neighbours who provided help in a caring capacity. When Sheila's mobility went 3 years ago, Enable Care Agency provided assistance four times a day, 365 days a year and we would like also to acknowledge their kindness in provision of the same. We would also like to thank the community dentist for her regular visits and advice through the years. We would also express our gratitude to Medicare, Newell Road for their kindness and support.
We would also like to thank Dungannon Baptist Church for granting their church for the funeral, to Pastor Billy Young and Revd Bryan Martin for taking the funeral service, as well as for their pastoral care over the years. Also we would thank Revd Matthew Topley for his attendance and pastoral care with Sheila in recent years. Our sincere thanks to Mrs Adrienne Sterritt for playing the organ at
the funeral service.
Our thanks as well to Holmes Funeral Directors for a most dignified and caring funeral ceremony.
Last, but definitely not least we must pay tribute to the professionalism, and tireless compassion of the Acute Care at Home team who provided a hospital at home service for Sheila on a number of occasions in the last few months of her life including her final illness.
