Julie, Allan and the entire family circle of the late Shirley Guthrie wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
We are deeply grateful to all who attended the wake and funeral and to those who sent cards, messages and flowers. Thanks to all our kind family and friends who called to the hospital to visit Shirley, brought food to the wake or helped in any way. Your presence, prayers and support have meant more than words can say.
Special word of thanks to the emergency services, Dr. Elizabeth Best and all the staff at Ward 40 Altnagelvin Hospital for their exceptional care and compassion shown to Shirley and to us during her time in hospital.
Sincere thanks to Rev Andrew Neill for his visitations at Altnagelvin Hospital, for his prayers, words of comfort and for conducting the beautiful funeral service at our home and graveside.
We really appreciate and are grateful to Brendan and the team at Thomas O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors for their professionalism, dignity and guidance in handling the funeral arrangements.
