Stephen Hackett
The family of the late Stephen Hackett would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered their support and sympathy during our recent bereavement. Heartfelt thanks to all our family, friends and kind neighbours and to all who helped and assisted during the wake and funeral. Our gratitude is expressed to those who brought food and sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of support and attended the wake and funeral.
Stephen was a dearly loved Husband of Fionuala, Daddy of Caoimhe, Son of Donald and Margaret, Brother of Christopher, Anita, Maria and Katie, Son in law of Martin and AnnMarie. Stephen will be loved and missed everyday and his memory forever treasured.
A special word of thanks to Dr Armstrong of Errigal Medical Centre, Ballygawley for her outstanding care and compassion, also thank you to Sam and Dr Ryder from the palliative care team, Clogher district nurses, James in the valley pharmacy and the marie curie nurses for their care and attention. Thanks also to the staff in the Cancer Centre in Belfast for their care and compassion during Stephen’s illness, special thanks to Dr Forde, Dr Clayton and Melanie McNally.
Many thanks to Fr O’Dwyer and Fr Traynor for their pastoral care and for the beautiful and meaningful funeral mass. Also thanks to Canon McGahan for his visits to Stephen during his illness which were greatly appreciated. A special thanks to Louise Coyle and Damien Cullen for the beautiful music throughout the mass. To Paudge and the staff of Quinn funeral directors for their professionalism and care. Thanks to Quinns corner for providing the refreshments served after the funeral. Thanks to Clogher mart for use of their parking facilities during the wake. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our deep and heartfelt appreciation.
Stephen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 16th May at 7pm in St Malachy’s Ballymacilroy.
