Stephen’s wife Bernadette would like to thank and extend heartfelt appreciation to everyone who offered sympathies during our recent sad loss.

I would like to thank Stephens cousin Tony Harte and his wife Colette and his sister Jean for helping to organise the funeral and also his cousin Dermot for all his help at our time of need. Thanks also to Stephen’s sisters Anne Marie & Linda and his brother Anthony for travelling home from England for the funeral.

I would like to thank all the family, friends and neighbours who attended the wake and funeral and especially his close friend Philip Darcy.

Deepest gratitude to Fr Padraig for celebrating Stephens funeral mass and Eleanor McGrath for the lovely music and the florist for their arrangements. Thank you also to all the ladies who made & provided refreshment's served after the mass. I would also like to acknowledge and thank the doctors & nurses who treated Stephen with such care and dignity in his final days.

To John & Paul McKeegan and Len Carberry thank you for your professionalism and compassion in carrying out the funeral arrangements.

Special thanks to my daughter Emma for travelling from Belfast with her 3 young children and my beautiful son John Joe who I am grateful was there for me from the beginning. It is not possible to thank everyone individually and I hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as an expression of my deepest gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone who has helped and supported us in any way.

Stephen’s Months Mind mass will be celebrated in St Marys Church Coa on Sunday 29th June at 9.30am.
