Stephen Mckee
We, the family of the late Stephen McKee (Ballyworfy Road, Hillsborough), would like to express our deepest gratitude and appreciation to all our kind relatives, friends and neighbours who supported us as a family throughout Stephen’s illness and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. We offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who provided practical support around the home, brought food, called at the house, attended the wake and funeral, sent messages, telephoned, sent cards and flowers and posted messages of condolence on social media. We are also so thankful to all those who travelled long distances to be with us. Thank you Dympna McCann from NI Hospice who supported Stephen and the family throughout his illness as well as the staff from Hillsborough Medical Practice and the Belfast Cancer Centre, particularly Dr Harte, Dr Corey and Dr Park. Thank you to Rev Canon William Taggart for his pastoral support and for conducting a personal celebration of Stephen’s life and to everyone from Hillsborough Parish Church who helped on the day. Our sincere thanks to Norman McBriar Funeral Director and his family for the compassionate and professional manner in which Stephen’s funeral arrangements were carried out. Finally, we would like to thank all those who generously sent donations in lieu of flowers to NI Hospice and Marie Curie. As it is impossible to thank everyone, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for such kindness and support.
