The family of the late Stephen Rooney would like to thank everyone who sympathised and supported us during our recent sad bereavement.
We are very grateful to all those who attended the wake and funeral, sent mass/sympathy cards, messages of condolence and those who kindly donated to The Sister’s of Charity.
Our sincere appreciation to the staff of Friary Surgery, The Addiction Service & Cuan Mhuire for their care of Stephen.
A heartfelt thank you to Fr Barry Matthews and Fr David Nugent for conducting a poignant and personal requiem Mass.
To Catherine Grimley and Dermot McCusker for their beautiful singing and music during the service. To Roger the sacristan and also Michael for preparing Stephen’s final resting place.
Thank you to Armagh Harps club for all their assistance with the wake and the Guard of honour at Stephen’s Funeral.
Thanks to Maria, Cormac & staff of Mulberry Bistro for providing the food after the funeral. Also to Cordelias for their kindness during the wake.
A special word of thanks to the PSNI for their help, assistance and compassion on the afternoon of Stephen’s passing.
To Peter, Sheena, Collie & Linwoods we cannot thank you enough for your kindness and friendship to Stephen.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep and heartfelt gratitude.

Stephen’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 11th March at 7.30pm in St Malachy’s Church, Armagh.
