CORRIGAN
Susanna (Anna)
(Nee McCarney)
Dromore Lower Eskra
1st November 2024

The family of the late Susanna (Anna) Corrigan (RIP) wish to express our deep gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us, during our recent sad bereavement. Susanna was a widely respected lady, beloved wife of the late Gerry, and a loving mother of Mary (Eddie), Michael, John, Angela (Eamonn), Evelyn (Gerard), Martin, Teresa (Aiden), Frank (Una). Devoted Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Aunt and Friend.
Sincere thanks to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards or sent messages. Thanks also to the many who attended the wake, helped, or bought food, lined the funeral route and all those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.
We would also like to convey our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, kind neighbours and friends who helped in so many ways. We are blessed to have your support and help throughout this difficult time.
We send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals and staff in the South West Acute Hospital for their kindness and care shown to Mum. A special word of thanks to Canon McGahan for all his spiritual support and for the very comforting Requiem Mass also to Father Brendan Gallagher who called to the family home and Monsignor Peter O’Reilly. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan Nuala and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, gift bearers, altar servers and eucharistic ministers and to Louise Coyle who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to Marlow Funeral Directors Eskra for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were conducted and to the gravedigger Brendan McKenna for preparing mum’s final resting place. Thank you to Canavans and staff for the most welcome refreshments after the funeral.
And finally, we send our grateful thanks to all the carers and staff of Rivervale Nursing Home, who cared so well for mum. Your excellent care, professional support, warmth, and diligence were appreciated.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.
Mum is loved and missed every day, may her gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Mum’s Month’s mind will be celebrated in St Patrick’s Church Eskra on Friday 6th December at 7.00pm. Our Lady pray for her.
